This is my 1st time owning a laptop stand, but I have seen them being used by others, & was interested in owning one myself. I have an online student, as well as a hubby who works on a laptop several hours each day. I also use one myself & my other kids do.

We recently had tongue tie release surgeries by a very specially trained release provider (Zaghi trained) & the results have been INCREDIBLE.. we have spent MANY HOURS getting prepared for the surgeries, with myofunctional therapy & bodywork, all of which we continued after the surgeries as well. The surgeries provided us with AMAZING relief from neck, shoulder, & back tension, which is where this LAPTOP STAND comes into the picture.

After spending all kinds of money on co-pays for the various therapies & surgeries, we want to PROTECT INCREDIBLE results, & this LAPTOP stand ALLOWS us to do that... we PROTECT our NECKS, SHOULDERS, & BACKS from reverting back to pre-surgery. We are now pain FREE from the surgeries AND we don't have to stress about using our laptops causing the symptoms & tension to return.

The LAPTOP STAND helps us to sit with CORRECT posture, withOUT needing a special desk, chair, etc. Purchasing a LAPTOP stand is MUCH CHEAPER & EASIER to purchase and use, than the other more costly options. It is also able to be used on our laptops of all sizes, with very LITTLE adaptation necessary... all we have to do is adjust the hex bolts in 2 places & we are BACK IN BUSINESS.

I taped the special adjuster tool to the underside of the frame the laptop rests on. That way we don't have to scramble around looking for the special tool when we want to adjust the stand.. it is RIGHT THERE... & my little boys do NOT see it, so they don't wander off with it, for some unknown reason, like they do with other little tools, etc. they see & have the need to tinker with.

The laptop stand has ANTI-SKID pads on the frame of the stand, where the laptop rests, 2 front supports to prevent it from sliding off, & ANTI-SKID pads on the bottom of the stand base as well.

For EASE of adjusting & to keep the laptop stable, I take the laptop OFF the stand while adjusting it UNLESS I have an extra set of hands available to hold it steady while I adjust the stand. If I don't have the extra set of hands, I just set the laptop on the table or desk next to me, adjust the stand, & then place the laptop back on the stand. EASY PEASY!

It takes a matter of seconds to adjust it for the various size laptops we use.

We have tested the LAPTOP STAND with laptops ranging from approx 14" wide to about 17 1/2" wide. For the larger laptop (an HP) it did not feel as secure at higher levels, but that is because the front edge of the laptop has a funky, angled shape to it, so the laptop front edge goes a bit ABOVE the front supports. It has NOT fallen off, but we are very cautious when using that specific laptop on the stand. It is easier to use it when the keyboard is a bit more level, instead of when it is more angled.

Our smaller HP laptop works just great with it & stays right in place, with the support prongs resting perfectly on the front lip of the laptop. Same for our Dell, Toshiba, & very old school, Gateway laptop. They all work equally well on the riser, & I LOVE the FLEXIBILITY of being able to share the laptop stand amongst multiple users & laptops.

The cutout of the laptop stand allows for any cables, chargers, etc. to go through it, depending upon how they fit into each laptop.

The stand is lightweight enough to bring it to another room, work, school, etc. if someone doesn't want to buy multiple laptop stands. It folds flat to slip it into a backpack or laptop bag.

I am VERY PLEASED with the laptop stand & how it allows me to sit with correct posture & does NOT cause any tension, strain, or pain.

I WOULD purchase it again & am considering purchasing another one, so we don't have to share it all the time between the laptops. GREAT purchase.

I have a desk stand like this for my phone, and this one for a laptop (or cook book or other...) is a great idea. The only problems are the hinges are SO stiff it is difficult to smoothly adjust the height/angle if you change from sitting to standing. You have to stop everything, grab the stand with both hands and really PULL (trying not to knock the laptop off). If that doesn't work, you have to remember where you put the enclosed allen wrench to loosen the hinge bolts, adjust, and re-tighten. If you try to leave it just loose enough to be able to smoothly adjust the positions, it does not hold. The other issue is, if you try to adjust it to a taller height or angled back at all, it is not stable and wants to tip over backward. :( Fortunately, I got it at a height and angle that works well in either a sitting or standing position so I just tightened it and can leave it in one place.

I bought this for my wife. she complained about her neck & wrist pain whenever she write very long time on her computer and I thought that this type of laptop stand can help to ease her pain a bit.

When I received it, I was very surprised how solid and well this was made. Very cool looking silver color. All the connections and moving joints were very well built and I can tell that it will last for a long time. (it is same color as MacBooks that my wife has)

it is hefty and has some good weight to it. Actually, I was happy that I didn't get a plastic laptop stand because that might have been too light for her 13" apple computer.
I took a lot of photos of the product. bottom, top and joining connections which seem to be very well made and sturdy. Also I put my 15" laptop on it and it was holding it very well, as you can see from my photos.
I believe that it will help for cooling the computer for better air circulation and when I type, I can lower the stand. And since since my wife uses her wireless keyboard and mouse, the screen can be on her eye level, so that she won't strain her neck.

I think that this laptop stand is good for your posture as well as laptop heat dissipation.
Also, it will be wonderful to just watch a movie on your computer since it can be at your eye level.
it is a very well made product for everyone to use.

Lightweight and super quality. It holds my laptop nicely. I like the hollow design which allow the laptop to cool and not get too hot while you are using it. This is the reason I chose this one over other design. The anti-slip that when I placed my laptop on also a nice touch. It super sturdy when it stands. Well, so the stand is really convenient, especially because it’s foldable and can fit my backpack, working in a cubical can be really annoying without it , especially if you connect it to another screen!
And the stand is really solving this problem!
You can change the angles and actually Make it fit everywhere! And if you’re tightening all the bolts (comes with the specific tool)
It’s really strong and you can even put a pc laptop on it 😜
But the best thing is that it’s actually preventing my mac to over heat - because I work in a cubical sometimes 🤦‍♂️
